Why is our brooch called POPPY?
The name POPPY takes its inspiration from the English poppy, the small red flower worn each year on Veterans Day.
A symbolic and shared accessory, it unites people across generations and origins in remembrance of those who served.
In echo to this tradition, AWA created the Bleuet, the French counterpart to the poppy.
A project that opened space for beautiful encounters between generations — young people discovering its meaning, and elders sharing their living memories.
Inspired by the English poppy — a flower of remembrance and connection.
